Shipping + Processing Times


Shipping times/cut-offs/Order deadlines: 
Orders are generally shipped on Tuesday mornings (for orders placed by 5pm Monday evening). I do my best to stick to this, however on occasion (due to illness and other circumstances outside of our control) shipping can on occasion be delayed by a couple of days, however we will get in touch if delays of over 2 business days occur.

Note: shipping day/deadlines (see above ‘Shipping times/cut-offs/Order deadlines’ for more details) still apply to orders placed with Express Shipping. I.e. if your order is placed on Tuesday, it’ll be shipped on the next Shipping Day, eeeeven if you have express shipping (I know, I know - I WISH we could guarantee it’d be out the door within 24hours, but ya gal (Tess) only works three days a week (BY HERSELF - although WIll helps where he can). Now, I do TRY to get express orders out sooner, but I just can’t guarantee it, so it’s better for me to under-promise and overdeliver, right?

However, in the unlikely event your kit arrives damaged, see below our ‘Returns/Refunds Process’ for all the info on what to do next/what steps to follow!

 

Delayed/Missing Parcel Policy:
If your item has not arrived after five business days of the estimated arrival date provided in your shipping notification/email, please follow the ‘Missing Parcel Process’ below. Please note: Australia Post are experiencing widespread delays, and delivery time-frames are an estimate, not a guarantee.

 

Refund/Returns/Exchanges Process:

Delayed/Missing Parcel Process
In the event your parcel does not arrive within 5 business days of the estimated arrival date provided in your shipping notification/email, please follow the process below:

1. Send an email to admin@rubtuesdayart.com with the subject line ‘Delayed/Missing Parcel’. In your email be sure to include:
- the email address you used when purchasing (if different to the address you’re emailing from)
- your order ID/receipt no.
-Your shipping/tracking code (found in your shipping notification email)

2. We will get back to you as soon as possible (depending on the time of year/season, this can take up to 5 business days, as we are a team of two, and neither of us are full-time, yikes!) to discuss which option is most appropriate for your situation/what the next steps are.

Initiating Refund/Returns/Exchanges:

In the unlikely occurrence your item arrives damaged and/or an item is missing from your order please follow the following steps within 48hrs of receiving your item to initiate a return/refund or exchange (whichever is deemed most appropriate for your situation)

1. Send an email to admin@rubtuesdayart.com with the subject line ‘Return/Exchange Request’. In your email be sure to include:
-  the email address you used when purchasing (if different to the address you’re emailing from)
-  your order ID/receipt no.
- please provide lots of detailed information about your item/why you would like a refund or exchange (e.g. damage to the product, missing items) 
- and, if possible some photos would be excellent to help us me work out a) what’s happened and b) what solution is best suited)
- If you’ve ordered multiple items, please note which products you wish to return or exchange from your order.

2.We will get back to you as soon as possible(depending on the time of year/season, this can take up to 5 business days, as we are a team of two, and neither of us are full-time, yikes!) to discuss which option is most appropriate for your situation

3. Pending which option/s are appropriate for your situation, please refer to the appropriate Process below (e.g. Refunds Process, Returns Process, and Exchange  Process)

Returns Process (how to return your item!)
If your item is deemed eligible for return and/or replacement (see above Initiating Refund/Returns/Exchanges), you must make sure the item is returned in full and unused. 

If a return is deemed appropriate, you must lodge your return (in its original packaging, inc. all protective packaging such as tissue paper etc) with Australia Post within five business days. You can re-use the shipping bag it arrived in, just follow the instructions on the bag itself (there’s a second sticky strip for you to use etc - it’s all written on the bag!).

Refunds Process (what to expect with refunds!)
Where applicable (see above Initiating Refund/Returns/Exchanges) your refund will be issued only after your item is returned (refer to Returns Process above). 

Once we receive your return in its original packaging etc (refer to ‘Returns Process’ above), we will aim to process your refund within 5 - 21 business days. On occasion (e.g. during busy holiday periods) this can take longer, in which case we will let you know. We know this might cause inconvenience if your item is a gift, and we appreciate your patience and understanding with this!

Your refund will be processed via whichever payment processing provider (e.g. Stripe/PayPal etc) original purchase was made. In the event you require a refund via a different method (e.g. due to an expired or replaced credit card) please let me know at the beginning of this process and/or as soon as you are able. Please note, this may delay your refund time as your refund may need to be processed manually.

Exchange Process (how to exchange your item!)


Where applicable (see above Initiating Refund/Returns/Exchanges) your exchange will be issued only after your item is returned  (refer to Returns Process above). 

Health, Safety and Children


Please note watercolour kits have small pieces that could pose a choking hazard for young children. This not only includes some packaging items, e.g:

 

  • the small plastic covers that protect your brush's bristles in transit - please dispose of these clear plastic tubes when you open your kit)

  • the mailer/shipping bag (please compost or dispose of as per instructions on the mailer)

  • stickers/tissue paper etc
    The art supplies themselves can pose a health/safety risk for small children, e.g:

  • the small discs of watercolour paint may come loose from the paint palettes and could pose both a choking hazard, and/or,

  • a health risk as the paints are not designed for consumption. Please refer to the manufacturer's website/s for more information.
     

For this reason Ruby Tuesday Art kits are designed for adults and/or children over 12 years of age. 


Also, please: do not drink your paint water or if you accidentally dip your brush into a drink/beverage, please dispose of and do not drink, as watercolour paints are not designed for consumption. 

 

Watercolour and MESS!


Please be careful when handling your watercolour paints as spillages and staining can occur. Stains can occur on skin, soft furnishings, tables and other surfaces. Some stains are permanent and cannot be removed.


Stock/Substitutions/Variations


My Watercolour Kits include:
- 1 x Micador 'Brilliant' watercolour paint set (the same as the ones I started with - they last FOREVER - sizes, may vary from that pictured)
- 3 x watercolour brushes (various sizes, may vary from that pictured)
- 2 x A5 pad of watercolour paper
- 1 x A5 copy of my 'Watercolour for Beginners' booklet
- FREE standard shipping within Australia
aaannnddd (drumroll please!)
- Your very own La La Land clutch, so you can take your kit with you on the run wherever you go (whether it's just hiding in your bedroom while your kids watch tellie, or perhaps if you go on a scenic getaway, or just to a cafe!)


Note:
Some materials may vary from those pictured due to suppliers, e.g. paint sets with a different number of paints in the tray - however, I will always substitute with an equivalent item, or somethin' better!
