What to bring - Nothing! Everything you require for the workshop will be provided for you, as well as tea, coffee and afternoon tea - plus you get to take your watercolour kit home with you to keep on painting!

Cost - $175

In this three hour class you will learn the basics of watercolour, pick up some super easy techniques, and take home beautiful original art created by you - as well as the skills to keep on painting! 

Watercolour painting is a beautiful medium, as well as being very forgiving and flexible - no matter your level of experience (including none at all!) this workshop is designed to help you to gain confidence in yourself and your ability to create stunning watercolour pieces. The most important message I can share is that art is for everyone!

What this workshop includes:

- 3 hour watercolour class with Tess from Ruby Tuesday Art

- Workshop materials to create your own watercolour Autumn inspired artwork (you get to take your supplies home as well!)

- Delicious light refreshments from Carolyn at Found in Earth

What you need to bring:

- Nothing! All materials and refreshments are provided

What you get to take home:

- Autumn watercolour kit (includes paints, paper, paintbrush & instruction booklet!)

About Ruby Tuesday Art:

Ruby Tuesday Art is created and run by Tasmanian artist/maker Tessa Wynne. Tessa utilises mediums such as watercolour, digital illustration, and textile art. Tessa's designs have been featured online and in print magazines, as well as used for logos by businesses, bands and organisations. Ruby Tuesday Art can be commissioned to create a range of custom items including family, pet and home portraits.

Accessibility and parking: I

f you have any questions regarding accessibility please do not hesitate to get in touch via hello@rubytuesdayart.com and we will do our best to accommodate you! Please note, this space does have several stairs to enter the building and does not have a ramp.

​Free parking is available in the street/s surrounding.

A quick note about Coronavirus procedures. I have put together a COVID-19 Safety Plan so you can attend my workshops with confidence. This will ensure we are looking after one another and ourselves.

Key Points:

1. Reduced number of attendees (maximum ten participants)

2. Increased cleaning of the space

3. Individual materials and tools - with the option to BYO watercolour materials or purchase a kit with your ticket

4. Supply of hand sanitiser for use before, during and after workshop

5. Pre-workshop communication regarding the new procedures 6. Reminder of procedures at the commencement of workshop 7. Use of hand-washing posters and reminders

8. Observation of and compliance with social distancing rules on the day 9. Food served on individual plates/platters - as opposed to a share platter

You must not attend if:

1. You have any cold or flu-like symptoms, or are unwell in any way

2. You are awaiting COVID-19 test results

3. You have tested positive for COVID-19 and have been advised to quarantine

4. You have been advised to quarantine/self-isolate for any reason (e.g. recent arrival from interstate etc).

Terms and Conditions:

Your space in a class is reserved only once full payment has been received - either directly though Ruby Tuesday Art (rubytuesdayart.com), unless otherwise stated/when another third party organizer is involved.

Ruby Tuesday Workshop tickets are entirely non refundable, but if you are aware in advance that you will be unable to attend, you may pass your ticket to someone else, such as a friend or family member, if you wish to come in your place.

If you would like to transfer your ticket to another date, Ruby Tuesday Art requires a minimum 30 days notice to allow for time to resell your place in the workshop that you booked - this option is ONLY available for workshops organised solely by Ruby Tuesday Art. In instances where a third party is involved/selling tickets on behalf of Ruby Tuesday Art this is NOT an option.   In the event that you are unable to attend on the day (e.g. you are unwell) we are unable to offer refunds or make up classes.

Gift vouchers are valid for a 12 month time frame and cannot be reissued after expiry.

Whilst arriving, attending/participating in and leaving the workshops, it is entirely your responsibility to ensure that you maintain and adhere to any and all safety precautions and requirements during the workshop. Ruby Tuesday Workshops and any guest facilitators hold no personal liability or responsibility for any damage, loss or theft incurred to personal property, or any physical injuries obtained during the workshop/class. By attending one of our workshops, you agree to holding full liability and responsibility for any damages, injuries to parties involved, this includes physical and/or personal property, which may occur during the workshop.

By accepting a place at a Ruby Tuesday Workshop you agree that we are not responsible for any theft or injury that may occur at any premises/venues that our workshops are held, or during any of our classes.
