Watercolour for Beginners: how to paint watercolour Cherry Blossoms

Let's paint cherry blossoms in lovely loose watercolour! In this step by step watercolour tutorial we will be using various watercolour brushstrokes, as well as 'wet into wet technique' and 'wet on dry technique' to paint these lovely watercolour flowers.

This is an excellent beginner watercolour tutorial, and I have other tutorials available to help with the watercolour techniques mentioned above!

For this beginner watercolour tutorial you will need various watercolour materials, including watercolour paints, watercolour brush/es, watercolour paper, two jars of water and some paper towel or a cloth. If you’re not sure where to start, also have a free watercolour supplies guide which you can grab at the bottom of this post.
