It's been a while since my last blog post, sorry folks! Having a baby does that. But, exciting things have been happening here at Ruby Tuesday Art, including a re-boot of my digital artwork (blog post on that yet to come), hand-painted baby items, new Ruby Tuesday stockists, and, the beginning of Ruby Tuesday Workshops!
On Saturday 1st December my first (of many!) watercolour painting workshops was held, at the lovely Milkbar Cafe in Launceson - it was a hoot! We enjoyed delicious morning tea, copious hot beverages, and painted 'til our hearts were content! Baby Freddy even joined us towards the end.
Participants were provided with a gift bag containing a range of watercolour essentials, including watercolour brush, palette, painting guides, watercolour paper and more! We painted pine trees, while exploring the watercolour medium, learning hints and tricks, as well as having a good laugh. I ensured that everyone who came along had a great time and left with everything they needed to keep on painting, including advice about materials and where to find them, tips on technique and even posture.
I will be hosting more workshops in the new year, so keep an eye out on Facebook and Instagram for more information!
