Terms & Conditions + Policies
Effective Date November 2019 (last updated Aug 2021)
Attendees of Ruby Tuesday Art workshops must be aged 18+ and/or attend with a responsible adult.
You must not attend if:
1. You have any cold or flu-like symptoms, or are unwell in any way
2. You are awaiting COVID-19 test results
3. You have tested positive for COVID-19 and have been advised to quarantine
4. You have been advised to quarantine/self-isolate for any reason (e.g. recent arrival from interstate etc)
Refunds and Cancellations
Your space in a class is reserved only once full payment has been received. Ruby Tuesday Workshop tickets are entirely non refundable, but if you are aware in advance that you will be unable to attend, you may pass your ticket to someone else, such as a friend or family member, if you wish to come in your place. Please let Ruby Tuesday Art know ASAP so that registration/contact details can be updated.
Alternatively, if you are aware in advance that you are unable to attend a workshop you're booked into, and you would like to transfer your ticket to another date, Ruby Tuesday Art requires a minimum 30 days notice to allow for time to resell your place in the workshop that you booked. In this situation Ruby Tuesday Art will issue you with a unique coupon code to use for a future workshop date.
Your coupon code can only be used once
Your coupon code is non-refundable and non-transferrable
Workshop ticket prices are subject to change - in the event future workshops are priced higher than your previously booked workshop (and therefore your coupon code) you may be required to pay the difference
Your coupon code cannot be used for other Ruby Tuesday Art products/items (e.g. watercolour kits, eBooks, online courses etc)
In the event that you are unable to attend on the day (e.g. you are unwell) we are unable to offer refunds or make up classes, however your watercolour supplies (included in your ticket) can be posted to your address (domestic/Australian addresses only).
In the event the instructor has extenuating circumstances, including but not limited to illness or emergency, that prevents them from instructing the class, students will be notified via email and/or phone and fully refunded at the soonest possible time.
In the event that a workshop is cancelled, Ruby Tuesday Art cannot be held responsible for any other costs associated with cancelled workshops (e.g. travel and accommodation expenses if you have travelled from afar to the workshop).
When attending a class, you agree that you will not reproduce, replicate or redistribute any element of the class or materials provided or content from our website or social platforms in part or full.
Photos/Videos and Social Media
Any photographs or audio or video footage taken by Ruby Tuesday Art or its staff, employees and volunteers during the Event are the property of Ruby Tuesday Art.
By booking this ticket you grant permission for any photos, or audio or video footage taken by Ruby Tuesday Art of yourself to be used for publication in any multi-media or advertising format, including brochures, websites, television, ads and publications, with the express purpose of marketing and promoting the Event or any of Ruby Tuesday Art's products or websites, or for any other lawful uses as may be determined by Ruby Tuesday Art.
By booking this ticket you grant permission for any photos, audio-visual footage, or interviews, both recorded and printed of yourself, to be shared on social media by Ruby Tuesday Art representatives or by other workshop participants.
By booking this ticket you further waive any and all rights to review or approve any uses of the images, any written copy or finished product, and you agree that you are of full legal age and have read and fully understand and agree to the above terms of the Media Release.
Waiver of Liability
Ruby Tuesday Art does not own, operate, or control the facilities where workshops are conducted.
By booking this ticket you expressly assume any and all risks, consequences and liability associated with your participation in the Event, including, but not limited to, injury or illness resulting from allergens, food, contact with other participants and participation in Event activities.
Ruby Tuesday Art also does not own, operate, or control the facilities where food/drink are prepared for workshops. Participants must provide any food/allergy information when booking their ticket, with as much detail as is relevant to ensure food provided is suitable. Ruby Tuesday Art will forward any relevant dietary requirements/allergy information to Caterers. By booking this ticket you expressly assume any and all risks, consequences and liability associated with your participation in the Event, including, but not limited to, injury or illness resulting from allergens, food, contact with other participants and participation in Event activities (including allergens/food/contact with other participants who may have consumed/had contact with relevant allergens at or prior to the event).
By booking this ticket you acknowledge that you for yourself, your heirs, executors, administrators, representatives, or anyone else who might claim on your behalf, do waive, release and discharge Ruby Tuesday Art and its employees and volunteers from and against any blame and liability for any injury, harm, loss, inconvenience, or any other damage of any kind whatsoever, which may result from or be connected in any way to my participating in the Event, and you agree to hold them harmless from any such claim(s). In addition to the absolute and unqualified release from all liability, you represent that you will conduct yourself in a safe and prudent manner while participating in the Event. Ruby Tuesday Art reserves the right to cancel an activity or release a participant if we feel the participant’s conduct is inappropriate or disruptive. By booking this ticket you are waiving certain legal rights, including the right to sue Ruby Tuesday Art or its officers and directors, staff, employees, agents and volunteers for any claim that does not arise out of a claim related to or consisting of negligence.
