In this three hour class you will learn the basics of watercolour, pick up some super easy techniques, and take home beautiful original art created by you - as well as the skills to keep on painting!

Watercolour painting is a beautiful medium, as well as being very forgiving and flexible - no matter your level of experience (including none at all!) this workshop is designed to help you to gain confidence in yourself and your ability to create stunning watercolour pieces. The most important message I can share is that art is for everyone!

In this class you will be guided through painting your own watercolour artwork inspired by seasonal spring blooms, drawing inspiration from your surroundings - these painting skills can be used endlessly to create a range of pieces beyond the completion of the workshop! 

What this workshop includes:

- 3 hour watercolour class with Tess from Ruby Tuesday Art

- Workshop materials to create your own watercolour springtime inspired artwork

- Delicious light refreshments from Carolyn at Found in Earth

- Nothing! All materials and refreshments are provided

About Ruby Tuesday Art:

Ruby Tuesday Art is created and run by Tasmanian artist/maker Tessa Wynne. Tessa utilises mediums such as watercolour, digital illustration, and textile art. Tessa's designs have been featured online and in print magazines, as well as used for logos by businesses, bands and organisations. Ruby Tuesday Art can be commissioned to create a range of custom items including family, pet and home portraits.

Your workshop participation also gives you membership to Found in Earth's exclusive workshop club “In-Spired Earth”. This will give you email notification of upcoming events before they are advertised publicly. Cost of membership is a one-off payment of $5.00, included in your ticket!

Terms & Conditions

Your space in a class is reserved only once full payment has been received - payment is either arranged directly though Ruby Tuesday Art via rubytuesdaytas@gmail.com, unless otherwise stated/when another third party organizer is involved. 

Ruby Tuesday Workshop tickets are entirely non refundable, but if you are aware in advance that you will be unable to attend, you may pass your ticket to someone else, such as a friend or family member, if you wish to come in your place.

If you would like to transfer your ticket to another date, Ruby Tuesday Art requires a minimum 30 days notice to allow for time to resell your place in the workshop that you booked - this option is ONLY available for workshops organised solely by Ruby Tuesday Art. In instances where a third party is involved/selling tickets on behalf of Ruby Tuesday Art this is NOT an option.

In the event that you are unable to attend on the day (e.g. you are unwell) we are unable to offer refunds or make up classes.​

Gift vouchers are valid for a 12 month time frame and cannot be reissued after expiry. Please note: gift vouchers are non refundable and not redeemable for cash.  Gift vouchers can be used at workshops where bookings are arranged through Ruby Tuesday Art directly. In the event that your gift voucher equates to more than a workshop you wish to attend, you can use any remaining on your voucher toward another workshop. In instances where bookings are arranged by a third party, please contact me at rubytuesdaytas@gmail.com to inquire about redeeming your voucher!

By attending one of our workshops, you agree to holding full liability and responsibility for any damages, injuries to parties involved, this includes physical and/or personal property, which may occur during the workshop.

By accepting a place at a Ruby Tuesday Workshop you agree that we are not responsible for any theft or injury that may occur at any premises/venues that our workshops are held, or during any of our classes.
